Construction of Municipal Waste Incineration Facility and Indoor Gymnasium, etc.
Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 15th that it has secured 195.5 billion KRW in national and provincial government budgets for next year. The county evaluated that the success was due to continuous requests for cooperation based on close communication with the National Assembly, relevant ministries, and Jeollanam-do.
The major national projects secured for next year include △Rural Agreement (42.8 billion KRW) △Installation of Municipal Solid Waste Incineration Facilities (40 billion KRW) △Maintenance of Landfill Facility Recycling (11.4 billion KRW) △Comprehensive Maintenance of Jangsan District Flood and Wind Damage Living Zone (51.2 billion KRW) △Relocation and Reconstruction of Rural Health Centers (25.3 billion KRW) △Maintenance of Sewage Pipelines in Seosam and Hwangryong (5.8 billion KRW) △Sewage System Maintenance for Rural Villages in Wolgok District (7 billion KRW) △Support for Renewable Energy Convergence (3.6 billion KRW) △Construction of Agricultural Science and Technology Community Center (3.3 billion KRW), among others.
Among these, the total project cost for establishing the National Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Research Institute has been adjusted to 76.9 billion KRW. The county has secured 720 million KRW for next year's basic survey and design to accelerate early establishment and plans to secure additional project funds.
The major provincial government projects include △Construction of a Multipurpose Indoor Gymnasium (13 billion KRW) △Modernization of Hwangryong Traditional Market Facilities (5.3 billion KRW) △Creation of a Wood Culture Experience Center (5.7 billion KRW) △Establishment of a Support Center for Returning Farmers and Rural Residents (5 billion KRW) △Construction of Daechang-dong Public Parking Lot (2.4 billion KRW) △Tourism Activation of Sangmu Peace Park (1.8 billion KRW) △Repair and Maintenance of Water Facilities in Buseong District (700 million KRW), among others.
The 'Jangseong Wonderland Project,' with a project cost of 30 billion KRW, is expected to pass the central investment review in the first half of next year and be reflected in the supplementary budget.
County Governor Kim Han-jong said, “We will do our best to make this a signal fire that opens the door to revitalizing the local economy.”
