Coordination of Overlapping Tasks Between Presidential Secretariat and Office for Government Policy Coordination
Yoon's Suspension... Secretariat Also Shifts to Han Deok-su Support System

According to the Presidential Office and the Office for Government Policy Coordination on the 15th, Chief of Staff Jeong Jin-seok is scheduled to visit the Government Seoul Office Building in the morning to meet with Acting President Han. They are expected to discuss detailed cooperation plans regarding how the Secretariat will support the acting presidency going forward. President Yoon Suk-yeol's duties were suspended after the impeachment motion was passed in the National Assembly the previous day, and the Presidential Secretariat will now assist Acting President Han Duck-soo in carrying out state affairs.
Acting President Han will be able to receive work reports and issue directives from the Presidential Office not only on foreign affairs, defense, and public security but also on domestic affairs across the entire government. Since the role of the Presidential Office may overlap with that of the Office for Government Policy Coordination, it is reported that Acting President Han and Chief Jeong will exchange views on how to divide responsibilities between the two sides. They also need to coordinate who will handle the reporting channel to the Presidential Office for Acting President Han.
