Seoul City Conducts Online Voting for Top 10 News

The most beloved Seoul city policy by citizens this year was the 'Climate Companion Card.'
Seoul City announced on the 15th that the Climate Companion Card received 69,821 votes (12.49% of the total votes), ranking first in the online voting for the '2024 Seoul City Top 10 News' held from the 3rd to the 9th.
The online voting was conducted on portal sites, Seoul City e-voting, and Seoul City foreign language websites, targeting 10 policies selected by the city’s press corps through voting. A total of 186,388 participants cast 559,164 votes.
The first-place Climate Companion Card received 12.49% of the votes, totaling 69,821 votes. The second place was Wrist Doctor 9988 with 62,690 votes (11.21%), and the third place was Seoul Outdoor Library with 60,129 votes (10.75%).
The Birth Support Seoul Project (4th), My Future Home (6th), Garden City Seoul (7th), Seoul Stepping Stone Income (8th), Seoul Moon (9th), and Haechi and Soul Friends (10th) were newly selected in this year’s Top 10 News.
In the voting conducted on the Seoul City foreign language website targeting foreigners, 'Support for Isolated and Reclusive Youth' ranked first with 3,346 votes, accounting for 13.84%. The second place was Garden City Seoul (3,147 votes, 13.01%), and the third place was Seoul Moon (2,984 votes, 12.34%).
The voting results can be checked by searching 'Seoul' or 'Seoul City Top 10 News' on portal sites such as Naver and Daum, or by visiting the voting page and Seoul City website.
Ma Chae-sook, Seoul City Public Relations Planning Officer, stated, "We will strive to introduce various policies in 2025 that more closely care for people’s livelihoods and allow citizens to feel specialness in their daily lives."
