Conservative Supporters Boosting Morale
After the impeachment motion against President Yoon Suk-yeol was passed in the National Assembly plenary session, Jung Yoo-ra, the daughter of Choi Seo-won (formerly Choi Soon-sil), comforted Yoon Suk-yeol supporters by saying, "We will win anyway if it goes to the Constitutional Court."
On the 14th, Jung posted on Facebook, "Everyone, it's not over yet, so calm down and let's fight well again starting tomorrow." She also referred to the impeachment crisis of former President Park Geun-hye in 2016. "We need to bring out the fighting instinct from 9 years ago. There was even less hope 9 years ago," she said. "I even thought there was no hope. (But) what made it possible was you all. You are more amazing than you think. There is really nothing you can't do. To me, you are superheroes," she encouraged the conservative supporters.
She continued, "We can do it again. We will win anyway if it goes to the Constitutional Court," and raised her voice, saying, "Let's do our best to protect the president who at least gave us the chance to fight." She also said, "9 years ago, I hid behind your backs a lot to protect you, but this time I will take the lead until the end." "To the conservatives who have not given up for the country and have done this exhausting task twice, conservatives have always united in the face of crisis, and the end has always been victory. Now is the time for true conservatism. All of you are potential leaders. You just need to awaken that," she emphasized, adding, "Then naturally other dragons will awaken, and we will win once again and protect the country once again."
She also said, "Be sad about the joy of the Democratic Party and the betrayal of the People Power Party. We are now at a crossroads of communism," and added, "What they want is for us to give up, space out, cry, and be frustrated." Finally, she said, "Let's fight to the end for our children and loved ones," and "Don't be sad, be angry. We will win once again and protect the country once again."
Before the passage of the impeachment motion, she had sharply criticized entertainers supporting the condemnation of the martial law incident, saying, "It is true that location is not important and unnecessary when talking about politics, but it is a problem to suddenly add words at this time when you have had no interest until now," "Do you even know that the Democratic Party has wrecked the budget?" "You say everything you want now, but you get fixated on the word martial law and foam at the mouth calling it communism, but that is not communism," and "Entertainers never check for themselves and always get caught up in agitation, do bad things, and don't take responsibility."
