On the 14th (local time), at TPC Sawgrass (par 70) in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, USA, during the third round of the final stage of the PGA Tour Qualifying (Q) School, the gateway to the US professional golf (PGA) Tour, he made four birdies and two bogeys to shoot 2-under-par 68. With a three-round total of 1-over-par 211, he jumped from a tie for 33rd place the previous day to a tie for 15th place (1-over-par 211). He is 4 strokes behind the qualifying line. The tournament is played in a 72-hole stroke play format over four rounds. Players who finish within a tie for 5th place or better earn the right to compete on the PGA Tour next year.


Baek Sang-moon lowered his score by one stroke to move up eight places to a tie for 15th. Lee Seung-taek, who advanced through the Q School preliminary rounds to the final stage, is in 31st place (3-over-par 213). On the other hand, Kim Sung-hyun struggled with a 3-over-par round, dropping to a tie for 96th place (8-over-par 218). Alistair Doherty and Matthew Riddle (both from the USA) each reduced their scores by three strokes to maintain a tie for the lead (6-under-par 204).
