Jung Woo-sung, Not Two-Timing... Never Loved Moon Ga-bi

New Claim Raised in Extramarital Child Scandal
"Met Mungabi After Breaking Up with Longtime Lover"
"Biggest Difference in Stance is 'Defining the Relationship'"

Amid the revelation that actor Jung Woo-sung and model Moon Ga-bi have an illegitimate child, new opinions regarding their scandal have emerged.

On the 13th, a sports newspaper reporter who appeared on tvN's 'Freehan Doctor' said, "Many of my acquaintances knew about this matter," and added, "There is a lot of incorrect information about Jung Woo-sung's romantic relationships circulating on the internet." He claimed, "The woman in the candid photo leaked online is not his long-time partner," and "There are rumors that the woman was born in 1998, but that is also not true."

He continued, "The main reason people morally criticize Jung Woo-sung is because they ask, 'How could Moon Ga-bi get pregnant when he already has a partner?' According to acquaintance A, Jung Woo-sung met Moon Ga-bi during a brief break from his partner," and added, "That long-time partner was also aware of Moon Ga-bi's pregnancy." He further stated, "According to my investigation, he is still in a relationship with that long-time partner, and it is not true that this person was shocked upon learning about the illegitimate child," and "She has known the truth for quite some time, so she is worried about her partner (Jung Woo-sung), but it is not a situation where she feels betrayed as reported."

Another reporter said, "It seems there was no agreement between the two," and added, "Having worked in the entertainment industry for over 30 years, I understand how shocking this matter can be." He explained, "Two days after the report about Moon Ga-bi's childbirth was released, it became known that Jung Woo-sung is the biological father. The prevailing theory is that Moon Ga-bi announced the childbirth without any agreement." Furthermore, he said, "Jung Woo-sung has usually expressed his opinions directly on most matters, but this time he revealed his position through his agency. The biggest difference in their stances is about defining their relationship," and elaborated, "They agreed to raise the child together after birth, but according to my investigation, the two have never dated. In other words, since they do not love each other, they do not intend to marry, and there were disagreements about clarifying their relationship."

Earlier, on the 22nd of last month, Moon Ga-bi confessed to giving birth by posting on her social media account, "As a mother of one child, I gathered courage to live enjoying a little more ordinary happiness." Following this, reports that Moon Ga-bi's son is Jung Woo-sung's biological child sparked a huge scandal about their illegitimate child. The British public broadcaster BBC reported on the incident, stating, "South Korea demands excessively high social standards from celebrities," and "Jung Woo-sung's recent announcement reflects the reality of Korean society where personal choices and social expectations collide."
