Pocheon-si Holds 'Pocheon-si Education Development The+Learning Talk Concert'

Commemoration of the Selection of Education Development Special Zone and the Launch of the Youth Foundation

Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced on the 13th that it will hold 'The+Learning Talk Concert' at 6:30 PM on the 17th at the Banwol Art Hall Grand Theater.

Co-hosted and organized jointly by Pocheon City, Gyeonggi-do Pocheon Office of Education, and the Pocheon Youth Foundation, this talk concert was prepared to commemorate the selection of the education development special zone pilot area and the launch of the Pocheon Youth Foundation. It will be an opportunity to share with citizens the direction of educational development in Pocheon and the role of the Youth Foundation.

In the first part, the vision titled ‘Edu-In Pocheon: Greater Pocheon Education Opening a Happy Future’ will be declared, introducing the core goals and implementation plans of Pocheon education, including the education development special zone.

Additionally, a talk concert will be held to present concrete action plans that meet citizens’ expectations based on key opinions derived from this year’s regional roundtable meetings.

The second part will feature a cultural event in collaboration with the Pocheon Cultural Tourism Foundation. Through a commemorative concert featuring La Classe, Yuk Joong-wan Band, and Ailee, a special cultural experience will be provided to citizens.

Mayor Baek Young-hyun of Pocheon said, “Through this talk concert, we will gather opinions for the successful operation of the education development special zone based on communication with citizens,” and added, “Pocheon will continue to implement various policies centered on the Youth Foundation to provide customized youth support and nurture future talents.”
