Guri-si, Recruiting Students for the 2025 1st Term Women’s Happiness Center Classes

The Women’s Happiness Center in Guri City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun) announced on the 13th that it will recruit students for the first semester of the 2025 education program starting from the 16th.

The program consists of 71 courses across 5 fields, with a capacity of 1,202 students. It will be held for about three months from January 6 to April 24 in the Women’s Happiness Center classrooms, targeting adult men and women aged 18 and over.

From the 16th to the 29th, applications for the first week (December 16?22) will be accepted exclusively from Guri City residents through the Guri City Integrated Reservation Portal. During the second week of the recruitment period (December 23?29), residents from other regions outside Guri City will also be able to apply.

Those eligible for a 50% tuition discount for up to two courses per person include ▲national merit recipients and holders of survivor certificates ▲recipients of livelihood or medical benefits ▲single-parent families ▲registered persons with disabilities ▲parents and children from multi-child families with two or more children registered in Guri City, where the youngest child is 18 years old or younger.

Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun of Guri City stated, “The Guri City Women’s Happiness Center will continue to operate various educational programs such as vocational and technical training courses, certification acquisition courses, liberal arts and cultural education courses, health gymnastics and dietary education courses, and evening classes to provide high-quality customized educational opportunities.”
