Gyeonggi Paju City (Mayor Kim Kyung-il) announced on the 10th that after inspecting the indoor air quality of GTX Unjeongjungang Station, all eight items, including fine dust and carbon dioxide, met legal standards in key areas such as the concourse and platforms located 50 meters underground.

Five measuring devices that detect indoor air quality in real time have been installed at GTX Unjeongjungang Station. If pollutant concentrations exceed the standard values, the air conditioning system and air filtration facilities will be activated to thoroughly manage air quality.

Additionally, to ensure citizens can use the station with confidence, indoor air quality information will be transparently provided. To this end, indoor air quality display devices will be installed on the platforms and concourse so that users can check the air quality status in real time.

Mayor Kim Kyung-il of Paju City said, “Since all items met legal standards in the indoor air quality measurements, we expect citizens to use GTX Unjeongjungang Station with peace of mind. We will continue thorough facility safety management to protect the health of passengers using GTX Unjeongjungang Station and maintain a pleasant indoor environment through regular inspections.”
