The event held on the 9th brought together over 30 participants, including labor safety keepers from eight cities and counties in the northeastern Gyeonggi region, heads of executing agency centers, and office staff. They shared this year’s project achievements through video reports, presented outstanding cases from each city and county, and exchanged reflections on their activities, encouraging one another.
A Yangju City official stated, “The activities of Gyeonggi labor safety keepers greatly contribute to identifying risk factors in construction and manufacturing workplaces, conducting continuous on-site inspections, promoting voluntary improvements, enhancing workers’ safety awareness, and establishing and spreading a safety culture. We deeply thank all those involved for their efforts to prevent industrial accidents in the region without any major incidents throughout the year.”
Meanwhile, through the labor safety keeper project, Yangju City has been conducting various activities to prevent industrial accidents from March to December this year, targeting construction and manufacturing sites with high rates of industrial accidents in the area. These activities included joint inspections, consulting, and campaigns.
