The representatives of the six opposition parties are submitting the impeachment motion against President Yoon Seok-yeol to the National Assembly's legislative affairs office on the 12th.
All 191 lawmakers from the six opposition parties, excluding the People Power Party, participated in the initiation of the impeachment motion.
They plan to have the impeachment motion reported to the plenary session on the 13th and hold a vote on the 14th.
The opposition parties had also initiated an impeachment motion against President Yoon on the 4th. This motion was put to a vote in the National Assembly plenary session on the 7th but was discarded due to a lack of quorum as most People Power Party lawmakers abstained from voting.
