Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province (Governor Jeon Jin-seon) announced on the 12th that it successfully held the '2024 Yangpyeong-gun University Entrance Exam Briefing Session' on the 11th at the Mulbit Theater of Yangpyeong Library, attended by over 200 students and parents.

This briefing session was organized to address key changes in the university entrance exam system and preparation strategies for a successful high school life, featuring special lectures tailored to the perspectives of students and parents to resolve their questions about university admissions.


The session was divided into two topics: 'Understanding the High School Credit System and University Entrance Exam System' and 'Understanding and Support Strategies for the Rural Special Admission,' with the first lecture delivered by Teacher Jo Manki from Dasan High School in Namyangju, and the second by Teacher Kim Dohoon from Yangseo High School in Yangpyeong.


A parent who attended the briefing said, “I felt overwhelmed about preparing my child for university entrance exams and participated in the session, which was very helpful. I hope such opportunities will be provided more often in the future.”


Jeon Jin-seon, Governor of Yangpyeong-gun, stated, “I hope this briefing session was practically helpful to students and parents, and we will continue to support students' academic achievements through various educational support programs.”


Meanwhile, Yangpyeong-gun has conducted aptitude tests and visiting study method special lectures for about 1,200 local middle and high school students this year to support their career and academic advancement.
