The Korea Exchange announced on the 12th that it held a completion ceremony for the derivatives study group '2024 KRX Future Star' to nurture financial talent among university students in the Busan area.

Launched in June, the '2024 Future Star' had a total of 15 teams (60 members) complete the program, with awards such as the Chairman's Award and the Busan Mayor's Award given to outstanding teams and individuals.
KRX Future Star is a university student derivatives study group established in 2021 to foster financial talent in the Busan area. The name combines 'Futures,' meaning futures and derivatives, and 'Star.'
A Korea Exchange official stated, "Through substantial activities such as participation in financial conferences and special lectures, it has become a representative external financial activity for university students in Busan," adding, "The Korea Exchange plans to recruit '2025 KRX Future Star' participants among university students in the Busan area in the first half of next year." They further stated, "KRX will continue to strive to nurture financial talent in Busan and expand the base of derivatives investment."
