"By collecting and analyzing unstructured data through artificial intelligence (AI) and utilizing it, companies can enhance their efficiency."

With the dawn of the AI era, the range of data available for companies to use has expanded. Unstructured data such as voice and video can now serve meaningful functions when combined with AI. Unstructured data tends to be volatile and discarded. However, it is said that insights can be drawn even from this type of data, which constitutes the majority of internal corporate data. Jaewon Jeong, CEO of Some Technologies, explained, "When companies utilize unstructured data through AI, they can expect increased sales through productivity improvements and cost reductions."

Some Technologies is a B2B (business-to-business) startup that analyzes unstructured data, especially voice, through AI and provides solutions. Its flagship service is a meeting solution. It converts voice content from meetings into text, collects it as data, and analyzes and summarizes it. AI learning is also possible based on the meeting content.

The service extracts important points from meeting content and labels them by characteristics. It summarizes and analyzes meeting content according to 13 contexts, including background, competition, business needs, objections, positive responses, questions, requests, and timelines. Not only audio files but also AI models can directly participate in video conferences to record and analyze voice and other data.

Some Technologies is also preparing a sales solution service. It automatically creates sales logs and explores ways to improve sales productivity. The sales solution is currently undergoing a closed beta test (CBT).

In the future, they plan to develop analytical solutions that visualize various business contexts through AI analysis technology, as well as services that handle customer interactions via voice and video. Their policy is to develop multiple applications end-to-end between unstructured data analysis and automation.

Some Technologies possesses AI models that have learned vast amounts of text data and understand and generate human language. They fine-tuned Meta’s open-source large language model (LLM), LLaMA. They also have speech-to-text (STT) technology that converts voice into text and optical character recognition (OCR) technology that converts text images into machine-readable formats.

Cloud storage is used for data storage, allowing flexible adjustment of storage capacity according to convenience. They also pay close attention to security, as voice data within companies can itself be confidential information containing decision-making details.

CEO Jeong stated, "We establish policies on how to manage incidents related to security and keep records of data usage history. We also provide customers with information on how well we respond to external intrusion attempts and how sensitively we handle customer data protection." They grant administrator status to corporate clients so they can decide how to manage data and comply with international standard certifications related to security.

The industry is also paying attention to Some Technologies. They are promoting customized AI meeting minutes development and joint projects with LG and SK affiliates. They are also developing and conducting joint projects for sales solutions with large corporations. Naver and Kakao have made initial investments.

Some Technologies plans not to remain limited to the voice data field but to reach the destination of corporate automation starting from unstructured data analysis. CEO Jeong expressed his ambition, saying, "We have started development not only in conversation but also in other fields such as images and videos. We aim to become the first company that comes to mind in this field."
