People's Power Party lawmaker Yoon Sang-hyun revealed an anecdote about drinking bomb cocktails with actors Jung Woo-sung and Lee Jung-jae. YouTube channel 'Kim Seung-woo WIN'

Yoon Sang-hyun, a member of the People Power Party (representing Dong-gu and Michuhol-gu Eul), who opposes the impeachment or early resignation of President Yoon Seok-yeol and argues for the need for constitutional reform, has had his remarks revealing his friendship with actors Jung Woo-sung and Lee Jung-jae brought back into the spotlight.

Last December, Yoon appeared on the YouTube channel 'Kim Seung-woo WIN' and had a conversation with actor Kim Seung-woo. In response to Kim Seung-woo's question, "How much can you drink?" he said, "I once drank with Jung Woo-sung and Lee Jung-jae, and Lee Jung-jae said he couldn't drink anymore after about 10 rounds of bomb shots," adding, "Jung Woo-sung went up to 26 rounds with me. He drinks well." He continued, praising Jung Woo-sung by saying, "He is young, in good shape, has a good personality, drinks well, and has a great character," and revealed, "We took love shots together. I had a schedule afterward, so we decided to continue next time."

Furthermore, Yoon explained, "Do you know who really drinks well? President Yoon Seok-yeol," adding, "The drinks we have are 'social drinks,' so we like drinking in a way that makes us comfortable and get along well, not drinking alone."

Meanwhile, on the 8th, Yoon appeared on the YouTube channel 'Lawyer Bae Seung-hee' and mentioned the incident of not participating in the vote on the impeachment motion against President Yoon. He voiced opposition to impeachment, saying, "If President Yoon has done something wrong, he should be investigated as a subject of judicial judgment, and regarding the political environment, we should unite our minds and move forward."

He also recounted a conversation with Kim Jae-seop, a People Power Party member (Seoul Dobong-gap), saying, "Kim asked me, 'Brother, I am getting a lot of criticism in my district. What should I do?' I told him, 'I also strongly opposed the impeachment of former President Park Geun-hye until the end. I was criticized a lot then, but a year later, people said I was loyal and even voted for me as an independent.'" This statement drew heavy criticism. In response, he clarified, "'A year later, the people change' was meant to introduce my sincere efforts to take responsibility until the end during the impeachment of former President Park. Although I was criticized at the time, over time, people recognized me," and explained, "It was to show that sincere political actions can eventually be accepted by the public."

Later, on the afternoon of the 11th, Yoon asserted through the National Assembly plenary session, "Regarding high-level political acts, the president's authority should be respected, and judicial review should be restrained," adding, "The Supreme Court's precedent is to judge unconstitutionality within the limits of restraint." He further stated, "If President Yoon resigns early and a presidential election is held immediately, constitutional reform under the next president will be out of reach," and added, "Unless the imperial presidential system is overhauled, the next president cannot avoid the same tragedy."
