Kakao Together Value Launches Year-End Sharing Campaign with Donation Coupons and More

Kakao's social contribution platform Kakao Together announced on the 12th that it will run a year-end donation campaign under the theme "A Year-End to Offer Kindness to Everyone" until the 31st.

This campaign was planned with the purpose of encouraging kind gestures to neighbors in urgent need of help. Kakao Together is taking the lead in donations and encouraging user participation by providing a "1,000 won donation coupon" donated by Kakao on behalf of users to the first 100,000 people, up to a total of 100 million won.

Users who receive the donation coupon can choose one of five recommended donation boxes to donate to: ▲improving housing for elderly living alone ▲medical support for residents in overseas conflict areas ▲treatment for abandoned dogs in shelters ▲mentoring support for young adults preparing for independence who are creators ▲providing meals for children at risk of hunger.

Users can also directly donate any desired amount to each donation box. Additionally, those who write comments about neighbors they want to help during the year-end will be entered into a draw to receive a Kakao Friends Chunsik doll, awarded to 10 winners.

Furthermore, on the 11th, Kakao Together delivered winter supplies to elderly living alone in Guryong Village together with 70 volunteers.

Kang Seungwon, head of the Kakao Together Planning Team, said, "We will continue new attempts to create a culture where users voluntarily participate in donations, rather than simply delivering donation money," adding, "We hope that through this campaign, everyone feels the warmth of giving and spends a warm year-end without exclusion."
