According to the released photo, the child of lawmaker A, who was in the National Assembly plenary session hall in Yeouido, Seoul, sent a message saying, "Dad, please make a political judgment. It will be over after tomorrow." The child also said, "This weekend, more than 10 members will definitely defect and pass it. More than 10 people have expressed support," and "Today is the last day." With the second vote on President Yoon’s impeachment motion scheduled for the 14th, the child informed their father that more than 10 People Power Party lawmakers are expected to cast affirmative votes.

However, lawmaker A replied, "Dad has spent his whole life in politics, so can you leave the last impression to me when I leave?" and "Dad is currently thinking about that. I hope you can give me some time to think."

Earlier, Um Joo-won, an MBC announcer and son of People Power Party lawmaker Um Tae-young, also criticized the current situation regarding the People Power Party. On the 8th, he pointed out on his social media, “Prime Minister Han Duck-soo and People Power Party leader Han Dong-hoon are not qualified to run the government,” and criticized, “The reality where Prime Minister Han, who failed to prevent martial law and thereby abetted a national crisis, utters the word ‘recovery.’”

Mr. Yeom said, “Leader Han, who has confused the political situation by changing his stance daily between opposing impeachment, suspension from duty, and early resignation, now talks about order. All of this is unrealistic,” and added, “Leader Han should have somehow led 108 members (even if they opposed the party line) to vote. It seems he prevented voting altogether fearing that 8 might defect, which is also cowardly. Therefore, both should step down from government affairs.”

Regarding the collective absence of People Power Party lawmakers, including lawmaker Yeom, from the impeachment vote, he stated, “I have accepted it as a lifelong karma, so I will not talk about collective responsibility. However, individual positions differ, and I believe that while we should debate fiercely, decisions and responsibilities belong to each person.”
