Busan Gijang-gun to Host 'Social Economy Enterprises and Youth Startup Companies Flea Market'

33 Companies Participate, Opportunity to Promote Excellent Corporate Products and Enhance Corporate Awareness

Busan Gijang-gun (Governor Jeong Jong-bok) will hold the "2024 Gijang-gun Social Economy Enterprises and Youth Startup Enterprises Flea Market" for three days from the 13th to the 15th at the North Plaza on the 1st floor of Shinsegae Simon Busan Premium Outlets, a location with high foot traffic.

This flea market is organized not just as a simple sales venue but to provide an opportunity to revitalize the social economy by supporting solutions to various local community issues and sustainable development.

In particular, through this event, the county focuses on strengthening networks among social economy enterprises and promoting communication-oriented activities to widely publicize excellent products and social economy enterprises, while also promoting distinctive and outstanding products from youth startup companies and supporting their greater leap forward by enhancing corporate awareness.

The event will feature 33 social economy and youth startup enterprises showcasing a variety of products produced by each company, including ▲Gijang seaweed ▲interior accessories ▲self-designed character products ▲daily hanbok ▲Bear Woong-i making experience ▲pet supplies, along with experiential activities.

A Gijang-gun official stated, “We have been holding the flea market in cooperation with Shinsegae Simon Busan Premium Outlets, which continues to support win-win cooperation with local small and medium-sized merchants and corporate social responsibility activities every year. We hope this event will raise awareness of social economy enterprises and youth startups and serve as an opportunity for companies and consumers to engage in social value consumption, thereby contributing to the revitalization of the local economy through mutual growth.”

Residents participating in this event who purchase over a certain amount will receive a small gift on a first-come, first-served basis. Introductions to participating companies and product information are available through the Gijang-gun website, banners, and QR codes attached to small gifts provided on the event days.
