Creating a Health-Friendly Corporate Culture and Environment
Gyeonggi Yangju Urban Corporation (President Lee Heung-gyu) announced on the 11th that it had obtained the 'Health-Friendly Company Certification' in the corporate certification evaluation system hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Health Promotion Institute on the 10th. The certification is valid for three years, from December this year to November 2027.

The Health-Friendly Company Certification System is based on the 'National Health Promotion Act' and grants certification to companies that exemplary operate health-friendly workplace cultures and environments, support employees to actively manage their own health, and implement health-friendly systems.
The corporation received excellent evaluations for △ establishing a 'Work-Family Balance Organizational Culture Promotion System' linked with company-wide strategies △ operating flexible working systems and health-friendly leave systems △ preparing emotional labor protection systems and conducting workshops to reduce employee stress △ providing medical and health management support for a healthy work life △ supporting in-house sports club activities. Among 26 companies this year, it was the only local public enterprise to obtain the Health-Friendly Company Certification.
President Lee Heung-gyu said, “With the active support of Yangju City and the Yangju City Council, we were able to obtain the 'Health-Friendly Company' certification as the only local public enterprise among certified companies this year. We will continue to fulfill our social responsibility by cooperating with Yangju City to promote the health of employees and citizens and to spread a health-friendly culture.”
