Pocheon-si Completes Inspection of 2024 National Road Fund Project Expenditure

Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced on the 11th that it completed the execution status check through a department-by-department report on the 2024 national and local government budget on the 10th.

This national and local government budget execution report was conducted in a different format from the existing report style, proceeding as one-on-one meetings by department. Mayor Baek Young-hyun of Pocheon and the heads of relevant departments discussed the progress of detailed projects and on-site conditions, seeking ways to effectively execute the national and local government budget projects.

During the inspection, about 100 projects, including budget return projects and carryover (current year) projects, were reviewed in detail, and future plans for ongoing projects were examined in advance based on past cases.

Mayor Baek Young-hyun of Pocheon emphasized, “It is necessary to have continuous and systematic management so that the national and local government budget, which was difficult to secure to supplement limited resources, is executed timely and appropriately, ultimately providing tangible benefits to the citizens.”
