Idis Powertel announced on the 11th that it will release the LTE walkie-talkie model 'Razer+20'.
'Razer' is an LTE walkie-talkie developed domestically by Idis Powertel in 2014 using independent technology. While TRS walkie-talkie service was a Motorola-exclusive technology, the company has developed its own products and services along with the LTE walkie-talkie platform 'Powertalk'.
'Razer+20' is an upgraded model of 'Razer+10', supporting features such as a 3000mAh detachable battery, a front 2.0W speaker, and a touchscreen. It also enhanced durability by applying IP54-rated water and dust resistance.
The device performance and customer convenience specifications have been significantly improved. A sub-PTT button was added, and a locking earjack was applied to meet the demand for earphone use. Charging convenience was increased by adopting a USB-C type port, and processing speed was improved with a CPU upgrade and the inclusion of 2GB RAM (previously 1GB) and 16GB ROM (previously 8GB).
Additional services necessary for field work are also provided, such as the 'EasyEye Service' for real-time location tracking and 'Multi-Group Reception' that can receive up to four groups simultaneously.
Kim Youngdal, CEO of Idis Powertel, stated, "Razer+20 is a standard LTE walkie-talkie preferred by domestic walkie-talkie service customers, and we have greatly enhanced user convenience and performance by reflecting the demands of customers in industrial sites."
