628 Public, 1 Private Pass, Second Exam for 3 Days from January 8 Next Year
Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Ha Yun-su) announced at 10 a.m. on the 11th through the office's website the results of the '2025 Academic Year Public (Private) Elementary and Special School Teacher Candidate Selection Competitive 1st Exam,' with 628 public school passers and 1 private school passer.
The number of candidates who passed the 1st exam by field was selected at 1.5 times the planned number of recruits, excluding those who scored less than 40% of the full score for each subject.
For public schools, in elementary schools, 570 candidates passed for 379 general field recruitments, and 5 candidates passed for 32 disability field recruitments. For special kindergartens, 8 candidates passed for 5 general field recruitments, and 1 candidate passed for 1 disability field recruitment. For special elementary schools, 42 candidates passed for 28 general field recruitments, and 2 candidates passed for 3 disability field recruitments.
For private schools, 1 candidate passed for 1 elementary (general) recruitment.
Those who passed the 1st exam must submit documents for the 2nd exam from the 11th to the 17th. Detailed information can be found in the announcement section on the office's website.
Busan Office of Education will conduct the public 2nd exam from January 8 to 10 next year, and for private schools, some commissioned subjects will be administered together during the 2nd exam.
The final successful candidates will be announced on February 5 next year through the office's website for public schools and through the respective school corporations for private schools.
