Dedicated Line Provided via IP-MPLS Method
Ensuring Data Security and Hacking Response Capability
SK Broadband announced on the 11th that it will provide next-generation dedicated line services to Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power.
Since October, SK Broadband has been building a nationwide dedicated line network for corporate customers using the IP-MPLS method, a next-generation transmission technology that efficiently manages network traffic, and Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power is the first case of service provision.
IP-MPLS enables fast and secure communication and has scalability that can integrate various network protocols. Additionally, with nationwide network construction, multi-path backup is possible, significantly enhancing the service reliability that corporate customers value most.
SK Broadband also emphasized that by utilizing Nokia's security encryption technology to strengthen data transmission security, it has equipped data safety and responsiveness against high-risk cyberattacks such as hacking from quantum computers.
Kim Gu-young, head of SK Broadband Enterprise Sales CP, said, "We will proactively respond to the rapidly changing cybersecurity environment with advanced technology to actively help corporate customers grow in a safe environment."
