The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 11th that traditional markets and shopping districts will also participate in the December Donghaeng Festival.
Traditional markets and shopping districts have designated the period from the 12th to the 25th as the focus period within the Donghaeng Festival, which runs until the 28th of this month, and have prepared various programs. First, a pre-buzz event will be held to create an atmosphere for the traditional market Donghaeng Festival. Customers who share Donghaeng Festival promotional content will be entered into a draw to receive a 10,000 KRW Onnuri gift certificate.
During the focus period, customers who purchase a cumulative amount of 50,000 KRW or more at traditional markets will be eligible for a receipt event awarding 150,000 KRW in Onnuri gift certificates. After the focus period ends, a survey event will be conducted where customers who participate in a satisfaction survey will be entered into a draw to receive 20,000 KRW in Onnuri gift certificates.
Through an online special exhibition of traditional markets, promotions such as free shipping and discount coupons will be offered to customers who purchase 10,000 KRW or more.
Minister Oh Young-joo said, “For the December Donghaeng Festival, held with the message of ‘a warm festival for all the people,’ traditional markets have also prepared various events for customers.”
