Seongdong-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jung Won-oh) announced that it has provided winter protection supplies to apartment complex maintenance workers and cleaners so they can work in a warm environment during the cold winter.

Since December 9, the district has distributed winter work gloves to about 1,700 security and cleaning workers employed at 138 apartment complexes in the area, creating conditions for healthier and safer work.

Additionally, this year, various projects aimed at improving the working environment and welfare of essential workers in apartment complexes are being continuously promoted, including ▲floor improvement work in cleaners' break rooms ▲repair work for security guards' offices and cleaners' break rooms ▲support for cooling expenses during heat waves for maintenance and break facilities.

The apartment workers who received the winter supplies expressed their gratitude, saying, "We are thankful to be able to spend this winter warmly," and "We hope the apartment complexes will continue to coexist harmoniously with the residents."
