Insiders familiar with LIV Golf revealed on the 10th, "Jang Yu-bin will join LIV Golf Ironhead GC next year." All That Sports, which manages Jang Yu-bin, will announce his transfer to LIV Golf on the morning of the 11th.
Having swept the prize money leader, MVP, and lowest scoring average awards on this season's KPGA Tour, Jang Yu-bin will become the first player of Korean nationality to join LIV Golf. LIV Golf Ironhead GC is a team led by Korean-American Kevin Na. Recently, they confirmed New Zealand Korean Danny Lee and Junichiro Kozuma (Japan) as team members for next year, and filled the last spot with Jang Yu-bin.
Kevin Na contacted Jang Yu-bin after the KPGA Tour season ended and persuaded him to make the transfer. It is reported that they coordinated the details of the transfer while playing together at the PIF Saudi International, the final event of the Asian Tour season, held in Saudi Arabia for four days starting from the 5th. At the PIF Saudi International, Kevin Na played the first and second rounds alongside Jang Yu-bin and Danny Lee.
