On the 9th (local time), the Billboard Music Awards announced through their official social media (SNS) that Stray Kids will join the performer lineup for the '2024 Billboard Music Awards' (2024 BBMAs), held on the 12th in Los Angeles, USA.

The Billboard Music Awards is considered one of the three major American popular music award shows, alongside the Grammy Awards and the American Music Awards.

Stray Kids is set to showcase two of their representative hit songs that have dominated this year with energetic performances on this stage.

In addition to performing, Stray Kids has been nominated in the 2024 Billboard Music Awards categories of 'Top Duo/Group,' 'Top K-pop Album,' and 'Top Global K-pop Artist,' aiming for wins.

In the 'Top K-pop Album' category, their mini albums 'Rockstar (樂-STAR)' and 'ATE' were nominated. They attracted attention as the only K-pop artist this year to have two albums nominated.

In the 'Top Duo/Group' category, they were nominated alongside global pop stars such as Blink-182, Coldplay, Fuerza Regida, and Linkin Park, standing shoulder to shoulder with them in status.

Stray Kids has achieved unparalleled success on the US Billboard charts. Starting with the mini album 'Oddinary' in March 2022, they set a historic record by having five consecutive works?'MAXIDENT,' '5-STAR,' 'Rockstar (樂-STAR),' and 'ATE'?all debut at number one on the main album chart, the Billboard 200.
