He continued, "I believe the United States will become the world's cryptocurrency capital. Both my father and our family fully embrace this," and said, "We believe in DeFi (decentralized finance), and we think this is the direction of the future."
When asked what regulatory or deregulation measures President-elect Trump is considering in the cryptocurrency sector, Eric Trump replied, "People in the cryptocurrency industry are frustrated that no one has come up with a reasonable plan on how to regulate the industry," adding, "We will have a clear roadmap, and we hope other countries will follow it." He also added, "We truly want to be the world's cryptocurrency superpower."
President-elect Trump recently announced his intention to nominate Paul Atkins as chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission. CNBC explained that this is one of President-elect Trump's key pledges to the cryptocurrency industry. It also mentioned that with Bitcoin prices recently surpassing $100,000 for the first time ever, confidence is growing that the new U.S. administration will solidify cryptocurrency's position in the financial markets.

Eric Trump said, "We want to see an efficient, productive, and innovative society. We hope the government does not become an obstacle to great businesses," adding, "Businesses should thrive, capitalism should work, and the greatest democracy in the world should function freely." He continued, "Unfortunately, the U.S. has not been like that for the past four years, but it will be again," and added, "I believe Elon will play a crucial role in making all that happen."
