Seokmun-myeon Village Leaders Council in Dangjin Donates 1 Million Won for Neighbors in Need

The Seokmun-myeon Village Leaders Association in Dangjin-si, Chungnam, donated 1 million won to the Seokmun-myeon Administrative Welfare Center on the 9th as a contribution to support the Seokmun-myeon Community Security Council's specialized projects.

The donated funds will be used as project expenses for households in the welfare blind spots within Seokmun-myeon, people with disabilities, elderly people living alone, grandparent-grandchild families, and low-income families.

Yu Byungsoo, president of the Seokmun-myeon Village Leaders Association, said, "We decided to donate with the mindset that we should take care of and help our neighbors in need ourselves," and added, "We will continue to engage in various social contribution activities in the future."

Meanwhile, the Seokmun-myeon Village Leaders Association participates in fundraising for neighbors in need every year and is at the forefront of spreading the culture of sharing in the community.
