On the 28th, 'Kkotji Sunset Tour and Pet Taping Massage Experience' Draws Interest
Fully Booked in a Day, Special Memories Await Pet Owners Nationwide
Chungnam Taean-gun, a 'pet-friendly tourism city,' is presenting a meaningful healing program to enjoy with pets at the end of the year.
Taean-gun announced on the 10th that it will operate the 'Kkotji Sunset Tour with Pets' and the 'Pet Taping Massage Experience Program' in Anmyeon-eup on the 28th for pet owners nationwide.
This program is designed to offer a special experience of beautifully wrapping up the year with pets. The sunset tour will be held at Kkotji Beach, which is well known as one of the top three sunset spots on the west coast, while the massage experience will take place at Daeyado Fishing Village Experience Village, where visitors can enjoy the essence of a fishing village experience.
Applications for 80 teams (one person and one dog each) were filled within a day, reflecting the high interest of pet owners nationwide. For the massage experience, about 40 additional participants from the local community will be recruited.
The Kkotji Sunset Tour will depart from Seoul by chartered bus on the morning of the 28th, pass through major stops, and arrive in Taean for sunset viewing and dinner.
A professional photographer will accompany the tour to capture memorable moments, and a 'pet guider' will be assigned for every 10 participants to ensure a safe trip.
The main feature of the massage experience is the 'taping massage,' which allows for bonding with pets. Participants can also enjoy various facilities in the experience village, such as cafes, offering happy experiences and memories not easily found in urban areas.
An official from the county said, "With the arrival of winter, we are holding these two programs to solidify Taean's image as a pet-friendly tourism city and to more actively promote our beautiful tourism resources."
Meanwhile, Taean-gun has received great response this year by hosting various events such as 'Taean Sunset + Night Tour with Dogs' (February-March), 'Pet Beach Sports Day' (June), and 'Pet Accommodation Festival' (May-June, October).
