On the 9th, SK Signet announced on the 10th that it installed the country's first fast charger compatible with Tesla's North American Charging Standard (NACS) in collaboration with Bright Energy Partners (BEP)'s electric vehicle charging network, Water, at its factory in Yeonggwang, Jeollanam-do, and held a shipment commemorative event to celebrate this.
The SK Signet V2 model charging solution installed this time supports various charging standards. The 200 kW model supports Tesla's North American Charging Standard, NACS, and also provides a remote update function for the integrated charger support system. The 350 kW model can charge an Ioniq 5 from 20% to 80% in just 15 minutes.

Starting with this shipment, SK Signet plans to distribute a total of 208 ultra-fast and fast chargers nationwide by the first quarter of next year in cooperation with Water, including ▲38 units of 350 kW ultra-fast chargers ▲68 units of 200 kW chargers equipped with NACS and DC Combo connectors ▲102 units of 600 kW separated chargers at 46 highway rest areas across the country.
An SK Signet official stated, "Fast chargers combining NACS and CCS1 are expected to provide greater charging convenience to electric vehicle users by preparing for compatibility with various electric vehicle models that will appear in the future, and play an important role in expanding the adoption of electric vehicles."
