A story of a couple who succeeded in marriage despite an 18cm height difference and different nationalities has been revealed.

On the 8th (local time), the Hong Kong South China Morning Post (SCMP) reported on the marriage of Tian Jun (32), a man from Hunan Province in southeastern China. According to the report, Jun is 158cm tall but married Namei, a model from Belarus who is 176cm tall. A video he posted on his social media account showed the two communicating in English and Chinese. Namei is known to speak Chinese fluently in daily life.

Before meeting Namei, Jun went on numerous blind dates for five years but did not find a partner he liked. Later, he met Namei, who was working as a model agent and modeling in China, and their love grew. He said, "I always believed I could find my true love, and then I met my wife, Namei."

They married in China in 2020 but did not hold a wedding ceremony at that time. Jun said, "My wife was 20 years old when we got married. She was at the prime age to enjoy her youth," adding, "Because I love my wife deeply, I have respected Namei's decision not to have children so far." Although they did not have a wedding ceremony or children, they reportedly enjoyed their newlywed life traveling together across China. Later, the couple attended a joint wedding ceremony held in traditional Chinese style on the 30th of last month in downtown Hunan with a total of 48 couples.
