Gyeonggi-do to Award 11 Organizations for Export Contributions on the 9th

Gyeonggi Province held the '2024 Gyeonggi Province Agricultural and Food Export Tower Awards Ceremony' at the Purmir Hotel in Hwaseong on the 9th.

At the ceremony, Gyeonggi Province selected and awarded 11 organizations that achieved outstanding export performance based on competitive quality in the agricultural and food export sector.

The award-winning organizations in the agricultural management category include agricultural corporations Namyang Nongsan Co., Ltd., Renewalife Co., Ltd., and Wooil Farm Co., Ltd. In the producer group category, the recipients are Hwaseong RPC Agricultural Corporation (Ltd.), Donggyeonggi Ginseng Agricultural Cooperative, Janghowon Agricultural Cooperative, Pyeongtaek Horticultural Agricultural Cooperative, Gimpo Paju Ginseng Agricultural Cooperative, Anseong Ginseng Agricultural Cooperative, and Anseong Horticultural Agricultural Cooperative. In the agricultural and food manufacturing and processing category, the awardee is Jeongnam Agricultural Cooperative Hwaseong Well-being Rice Cake Cluster Project Group.

Gong Jeong-sik, Director of the Gyeonggi Province Department of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Life Sciences, stated, "These award-winning companies are true contributors who have greatly contributed to the development of Gyeonggi Province's agricultural and food industry and the pioneering of overseas markets." He emphasized, "We will continue to strengthen the export competitiveness of agricultural and food companies in the province through various support projects and do our best to expand the position of K-Food in the global market."
