Startup SECONDFIT announced that it plans to simultaneously launch its dietary management platform app on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store by the end of this year, utilizing AI technology.
The app, "SECONDFIT," was developed for customers who want to lose weight or athletes who need dietary management for weight class control. By recording meals using photos taken with a smartphone, the AI automatically recognizes and analyzes the nutritional content, allowing systematic dietary management. Based on the recorded data, the app also provides personalized meal recommendations.
Additionally, the CEO of SECONDFIT, a former professional boxer, plans to offer a meal recommendation program feature designed for athletes who need to control their weight class, based on his own know-how in weight management.
Recently, as interest in food and processed foods has increased through various media, side effects caused by poor eating habits have also risen, leading to growing attention to dietary management. To address these issues, SECONDFIT aims to help users develop healthy eating habits through its app.
Kim Kyung-min, CEO of SECONDFIT, stated, "Through AI-based dietary analysis features, users will be able to conveniently manage their meals, contributing to health improvement and medical cost reduction."
Meanwhile, the company is currently implementing the "Sports Industry Startup Support Project" operated by Masan University, supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation.
