G-Space Dongbu implemented detailed projects based on three strategic tasks: ‘Start-up’ for nurturing startup talents and incubating early-stage startups, ‘Accelerating’ for accelerating business growth, and ‘Scale-up’ for supporting market expansion and investment attraction.

This year’s major support achievements included 43 cases of commercialization support such as product development, promotion and marketing, testing and certification, and intellectual property application support; 35 cases of market expansion support for local startups using the ‘Creator Studio’ within the Dongbu Center; and 25 sessions of investment attraction IR and investment consultation meetings, providing various programs for startup growth.

Additionally, through the startup expert training program ‘Con-Project,’ 55 prospective and early-stage entrepreneurs were supported to commercialize their business ideas into products. The youth entrepreneurship academy ‘Sangsangtium’ involved 100 sixth-grade students from Jungbu Elementary School in Yangsan, spreading startup culture among local students and providing opportunities to grow into convergent creative talents equipped with a spirit of challenge and creativity.

Notably, among the 74 startups supported this year, 34 companies achieved a total sales performance of 5.4 billion KRW, 27 companies contributed to job creation by hiring 89 new employees, and 5 companies succeeded in attracting 4.4 billion KRW in investment, marking a new turning point in investment activation.

A Yangsan City official stated, “Looking at the achievements of the startups participating in this year’s G-Space Dongbu project, it is clear that the growth of startups is a cornerstone that leads to job creation and economic growth,” and added, “In 2025, we will continue to promote various startup programs that can provide practical help to startups.”
