KCTU "Cannot Entrust Governance Even for a Day"

The Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) declared in a statement that day, "He must be impeached and arrested immediately."
The KCTU said, "(President Yoon) should face legal judgment for the crime of rebellion, and the National Assembly must hold him politically accountable through immediate impeachment resolution," adding, "The people cannot entrust Yoon Seok-yeol with state affairs even for a single day."
The Federation of Korean Trade Unions (FKTU) expressed the stance of "Impeach Yoon Seok-yeol. Arrest Yoon Seok-yeol."
The FKTU stated, "In his address, President Yoon once again blamed others. Although he said he would not evade legal and political responsibility, it is not that he will not evade it, but that he will be unable to do so," adding, "There is no position on the resignation that the people truly want. He said he would entrust the ruling party with measures to stabilize the political situation, including his term, but this is a directive to prevent impeachment."
Earlier, in his national address that day, President Yoon apologized for the emergency martial law situation and stated, "I will entrust the ruling party with measures to stabilize the political situation, including issues related to my term."
