Namyangju-si Conducts Labor Management Training for Public Service and Fixed-term Staff

Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 6th that it conducted labor management training for public officials and fixed-term workers in charge in the second half of 2024 at Yeoyudang on the 2nd floor of City Hall on the 5th.

The training, attended by about 40 personnel in charge from a total of 27 departments of affiliated and subordinate organizations, consisted of key labor-related laws such as the Labor Standards Act and the Industrial Safety and Health Act concerning labor management of public officials and fixed-term workers.


In this training, certified labor attorneys and safety managers belonging to City Hall provided detailed explanations centered on cases regarding labor-related laws and response measures and prevention plans in the event of industrial accidents.


In particular, it focused on major points of confusion arising from the differences between general workers subject to the Labor Standards Act and public officials, providing an opportunity to strengthen the expertise of the personnel in charge.


Kang Hye-sook, Director of the Human Resources Department, said, “We hope this training will be an opportunity to raise the level of labor management in Namyangju City by one step,” and urged, “Please strive to comply with regulations during work and protect the rights and interests of public officials and fixed-term workers who dedicate themselves to Namyangju City.”
