Pilot Project for 48 Complexes in Hwado-eup to Expand from Next Year
Scan QR Code with Smartphone to Access Address Information and Administrative Service Platform
Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 6th that starting this month, sticker-type indoor building number plates with road name addresses will be attached to apartment complexes in Hwado-eup.
This is part of a pilot project aimed at building the Dasan Jeong Yak-yong brand based on smart address information facilities and enhancing citizen convenience.
Namyangju City plans to attach sticker-type building number plates in easily visible places such as elevators in 48 apartment complexes in Hwado-eup, allowing residents to easily check the road name addresses.
In particular, the sticker-type building number plates include QR codes that, when scanned with a smartphone, connect to the Namyangju City Smart Address Information Facility administrative service platform. Through this, users can accurately identify their location and obtain various information such as city news and tourism information.
A Namyangju City official stated, “By utilizing QR codes to provide various information to citizens, we expect to simultaneously improve citizens' convenience in daily life and enhance city administration promotion.”
The sticker design, which uses the image of Dasan Jeong Yak-yong, is also expected to contribute to improving the urban aesthetics and enhancing the historical and cultural value of Namyangju City.
The city plans to analyze the results of this pilot project and expand the project to the entire Namyangju area starting next year.
