Why Did Children Attend the Mapo-gu Resident Participation Filial Piety Meal Donation Ceremony?

On the morning of December 6, a donation ceremony was held in the conference room of Mapo-gu Office, where Yeomri Daycare Center presented a sponsorship fund to the Mapo-gu representative senior welfare project, the Resident Participation Filial Piety Meal.

The ceremony was attended by Park Gang-su, the mayor of Mapo-gu, along with Jang Gyeong-ja, the director of Yeomri Daycare Center and 17 children, sharing warm generosity together.

The sponsorship fund donated by Yeomri Daycare Center to the Filial Piety Meal was part of the proceeds from a bazaar, amounting to 1,302,000 won.

Park Gang-su, mayor of Mapo-gu, said, “We will do our best to ensure that the warm and kind hearts of the children are fully conveyed to the seniors,” and added, “I would like to once again thank our children who took the lead in fostering a culture of donation.”
