Busan Regional Veterans Office Distributes Learning Materials for 'Finding Busan Veterans Traces with Metaverse'

The Busan Regional Veterans Office (Director Lee Nam-il) and Busan National University of Education (President Park Su-ja) have developed learning materials titled ‘Veterans Culture Content Using the Metaverse’ to raise prospective teachers' interest in veterans affairs and promote the activation of veterans culture education for future generations.

The total of 14 learning materials, produced by administrative districts under the title ‘Finding Veterans Traces in Busan with the Metaverse,’ are designed for elementary school students to visit memorial facilities in Busan within the metaverse space, learn about these facilities, and engage in related quizzes and missions, making it easy and fun to become familiar with veterans affairs.


These learning materials were distributed to elementary schools in Busan and through the Busan Regional Veterans Office website (Our Office News) and blog.


The Busan Regional Veterans Office expressed hope that the veterans culture content using the metaverse, created by prospective teachers, will be actively utilized in educational settings to improve awareness of national veterans affairs and contribute to the inheritance and development of veterans culture.
