Dongducheon-si Holds Event to Add Year-End Tax Benefits for Hometown Love Donations

Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyung-deok) announced that it will hold the 'Hometown Love Donation Year-End Tax Benefit Plus' event for two weeks from the 9th to the 22nd.

The Hometown Love Donation System is a program where individuals who donate to local governments other than their place of residence receive a tax credit (full credit up to 100,000 KRW, 16.5% credit on the excess) and a thank-you gift worth about 30% of the donation amount in local specialties.

In addition to the existing tax credit benefits and thank-you gifts, Dongducheon City plans to additionally provide 40 donors who contribute more than 100,000 KRW during the event period with one popular thank-you gift worth about 30,000 KRW (pork belly, camping frying pan, traditional liquor, ceramic teacup) through a lottery.

Participation in the event is automatic upon donating 100,000 KRW or more to Dongducheon City and completing the thank-you gift order on the 'Hometown Love e-um' website from the 9th to the 22nd. The lottery results will be announced on the 24th.
