Signed a Business Agreement with Seoul National University Intelligent Unmanned Mobility Research Center and FineVT Co., Ltd.
Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced on the 6th that it held a seminar for the Next-Generation Advanced Mobility Research Promotion Group at the Pocheon Business Center on the 4th and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Seoul National University Intelligent Unmanned Mobility Research Center and FineVT Co., Ltd.

Through this agreement, Seoul National University Intelligent Unmanned Mobility Research Center will cooperate on ▲establishing a domestic commercialization foundation for the advanced mobility industry ▲transitioning to software (SW), advanced sensors, and artificial intelligence (AI) companies ▲policy formulation ▲research institute establishment, and FineVT Co., Ltd. will utilize Pocheon City’s infrastructure when promoting technology research for Korea-UK and Korea-Kazakhstan R&D centers and support the attraction of related companies.
At the seminar, stakeholders from the public, private, military, academia, and research sectors attended and presented on ▲Pocheon City’s mobility industry vision and strategy ▲Seoul National University Intelligent Unmanned Mobility Research Center’s drone policies and industry trends ▲FineVT Co., Ltd.’s global technology development (R&D) cooperation strategy ▲Korea Aerospace Research Institute’s future mobility promotion strategy.
Pocheon City plans to promote the next-generation advanced mobility industry and the establishment of a drone parts localization complex by ▲training and attracting software specialists in the northern Gyeonggi region ▲attracting research institutions to the area ▲fostering companies and creating jobs ▲building a demonstration test system for civil-military manned and unmanned complex systems ▲and promoting digital twin-based testing and evaluation.
Mayor Baek Young-hyun of Pocheon said, “This seminar and agreement have laid the foundation to become a hub for the advanced mobility industry,” and added, “We will do our best to establish a drone parts localization complex and commercialize future mobility technologies.”
Meanwhile, Seoul National University Intelligent Unmanned Mobility Research Center conducts various public research projects through cooperation with major domestic and international institutions and companies, focusing on nurturing innovative talent and developing core technologies for unmanned mobility in land, sea, and air.
FineVT Co., Ltd. is a company with technological capabilities that succeeded in real-time transmission of 4K video via quantum-encrypted drones in Antarctica and is active in various fields such as unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) manufacturing, counter-unmanned aerial system (Counter-UAS), manufacturing execution system (MES), and artificial intelligence (AI Vision) inspection equipment development.
