Asiana Airlines announced on the 6th that it will upcycle used flight attendant uniforms into eco-friendly products.

The airline generates about 30,000 discarded uniforms annually. By upcycling these, they introduced 12 eco-friendly products including four types of hair accessories, four types of leather goods, two types of bags, shoes, and pouches. These products will be available for purchase starting from the 9th on the official website of the More Than brand CONTINUE.

This new product launch was made possible as Asiana Airlines participated as a cooperating organization in the 2024 Social and Environmental Problem Solving Support Project hosted by the Gyeonggi Social Economy Center, a public institution under Gyeonggi Province. Asiana Airlines stated, "We will continue to establish a virtuous cycle of resources through ongoing upcycling and actively participate in responding to climate change."
