Actor Byeon Yo-han won the Best Actor award for the film She Died at the '2024 Seoul International Film Awards' held on the 5th.
On the 6th, through his agency TEAMHOPE, Byeon Yo-han said, "I received the Popular Star Award at the same ceremony in 2015, and receiving an award 10 years later makes me feel I need to work even harder." He added, "Korean cinema is going through a very difficult time, but I will do my best with the talents I have to protect Korean films."
Byeon Yo-han played the role of Gu Jeong-tae, a licensed real estate agent whose hobby is voyeurism, in She Died, which was released last May. He strived to uncover the truth behind the death of Han So-ra, a social media influencer he was observing. This year, he appeared in three films and dramas, including the OTT Disney+ series Sam-sik-i Samchon and the MBC drama Death to Snow White - Black Out.
