The 'Southeastern Mid-sized Company Network' is the second regional network following the Daegyeong Network launched in January. It is a consultative body that discusses specific issues and problems of local mid-sized companies and seeks practical support measures.
Lee Ho-jun, Executive Vice Chairman of the Federation of Mid-sized Enterprises, said, “As a premise for sustainable development and strengthening national competitiveness, it is necessary to resolve the excessive concentration in the metropolitan area in terms of economy, politics, population, and culture, and to activate diverse communication and cooperation not only between regions and the central government but also within regions.”
