On the 6th, Min will attend the Hanwha General Insurance X Pollin Talk Concert "Women Who Became a Genre" held at Dreamplus Gangnam in Seocho-gu, Seoul. This lecture marks Min’s first public appearance amid ongoing legal disputes with HYBE and its affiliated labels, drawing significant attention to the content of her talk.

At the event, Min is scheduled to give a one-hour lecture starting at 8 p.m., the final session of the day, under the theme "Planner Min Hee-jin, Crossing Boundaries to Become a K-pop Genre."

Currently, Min and HYBE are engaged in various legal battles. The core of the conflict centers on the termination of NewJeans’ exclusive contract and allegations of tampering.

On the 28th of last month, the group NewJeans held an emergency press conference to announce the termination of their exclusive contract with ADORE, claiming that "ADORE lacked the will and ability to protect them." In response, ADORE denied any breach of contract and stated that the exclusive contract remains valid, asserting that NewJeans’ activities will continue.

Dispatch reported that Min had prior contact (tampering) with NewJeans members and discussed the possibility of taking NewJeans away by meeting with the actual owner of Dabollink. Min has completely denied these claims and stated, "We plan to proceed with legal actions one by one."

Previously, Min filed a lawsuit against executives including Kim Tae-ho, CEO of Belift Lab, a HYBE-affiliated label, on charges of defamation and obstruction of business. Conversely, Belift Lab and Source Music have filed defamation and damages claims against Min, with the first hearing scheduled for January next year.

In this lecture, Min plans to discuss her experiences as a K-pop planner and her industrial insights, but there is keen interest in whether she will mention the ongoing legal disputes and matters related to NewJeans.

At a lecture held at Hyundai Card Da Vinci Motel last September, she made direct remarks about her conflict with HYBE and her relationship with NewJeans members, which became a hot topic.

It is still unknown whether she will address the recent controversies surrounding NewJeans in this upcoming lecture or focus solely on her industrial achievements and philosophy as a producer. However, given the acceleration of legal disputes, any statements made after the lecture could become another issue.

Meanwhile, regardless of the message Min delivers during the lecture, the dispute between her and NewJeans is expected to continue into next year. Industry attention is focused on how the legal battles with Source Music and Belift Lab regarding NewJeans’ contract termination will conclude and what direction Min’s future as a creator will take.

The lecture will be available for online viewing only to applicants. Alongside Min, political scientist Dr. Kim Ji-yoon, writer Jung Seo-kyung, influencer Lee Sa-bae, and writer Kim Gyeo-ul are also scheduled to participate as speakers.
