Namyangju Disabled Sports Association Shares Kimchi Made with Love for Families of Disabled Persons

Delivered 300 Boxes of Kimchi to 18 Organizations Including Disabled Groups

The Namyangju City Disabled Sports Association in Gyeonggi Province held a 'Love Kimchi Kimjang Delivery Ceremony' for families of people with disabilities on the 5th at the city hall square, attended by about 30 people including sponsors, the Namyangju Welfare Foundation, disability organizations, and facility officials.

Three hundred boxes of kimchi for kimjang were prepared with the support of related organizations of Byeollae Clean Center (Ecobit Water, IJN Sol, Dongmyung Technology Corporation) and Jinmi Environment Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Jin-kwang), and are scheduled to be delivered to 18 locations including △local disability organizations △residential facilities for people with disabilities △daycare facilities for people with disabilities △disability welfare centers.


Mayor Joo Gwang-deok, who attended the event, said, “I thank the Namyangju City Disabled Sports Association, sponsors, and the local community for sharing warmth with families of people with disabilities,” and added, “Namyangju City will continue to practice sharing and love so that no neighbors are left out.”


The Namyangju City Disabled Sports Association has been providing practical support to disability facilities and organizations by delivering kimchi for kimjang again this year following last year, and continues its support by donating equipment such as shulrun and basketball hoops to promote the health and recreational sports activities of people with disabilities.
