Dongmyeong University Department of Future Automotive Engineering Wins Gold and Bronze Excellence Awards at the 12th Private Skills Competition

The Department of Future Automotive Engineering at Dongmyung University announced on the 5th that three of its students won the Gold, Bronze, and Excellence Awards at the recent awards ceremony of the 12th Private Skills Competition 2024 (Automobile Maintenance Division).

Student Shin Minseung (3rd year, Department of Future Automotive Engineering), guided by Professor Choi Gapseung of the same department, received the Gold Award, which is the Busan Regional Employment and Labor Office Director's Award. Student Ahn Suho (3rd year, Department of Future Automotive Engineering) won the Bronze Award, which is the Sasang District Office Mayor's Award of Busan. Student Seo Youngwoo (4th year, Department of Future Automotive Engineering) received the Excellence Award (National Quality Master Association President's Award).


A university official stated that Gold Award winner Shin Minseung is interested in automobile design, manufacturing, and maintenance, and diligently hones his practical skills on-site, serving as a role model for juniors. Additionally, Bronze Award winner Ahn Suho is gaining diverse experiences to become an all-around player in automobiles, including winning the Bronze Award in the 2024 Regional Skills Competition (Agricultural Machinery Maintenance category).


This competition was hosted by the Korea Skills Federation and sponsored by Busan City, Busan Regional Employment and Labor Office, Busan Regional Headquarters of the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, Busan Southern Branch of the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, and Barun Technology.
