On the same day, at the National Assembly's Public Administration and Security Committee plenary session, Woo responded to Committee Chairman Shin Jeong-hoon's question, "Does the Counterintelligence Commander have the authority to cooperate with or command the Commissioner of the National Police Agency?" with this statement.

Regarding the question of whether he directed the deployment of forces to the National Election Commission, Woo said, "Since I do not know the specific details of the conversation, it is difficult to give a direct answer as to whether it was a command, a request, or an opinion."

Chairman Shin requested, "Please investigate and take action regarding the Counterintelligence Commander's measures and the process of enforcing martial law."
