SK Siltron, a semiconductor wafer manufacturing company, announced on the 5th that it has implemented an organizational restructuring and executive appointments for the next year.

The company explained that the recent organizational restructuring focused on strengthening marketing, sales, and research and development (R&D) functions to innovate its portfolio, and pursuing cost structure innovation by complementing equipment technology capabilities and DT capabilities.


Additionally, it added that it plans to redefine the roles and responsibilities (R&R) of each organization to enhance collaboration between departments and improve on-site execution capabilities.


In the executive appointments, two individuals were promoted to head of divisions, and four were newly appointed as executives.


Vice President Jo Yong-jun was appointed as the Head of Manufacturing and Technology Division, and Vice President Oh Se-yeol was appointed as the Head of Development Division.


SK Siltron stated, "Based on the capabilities of the reorganized organization, we plan to continuously promote operational efficiency and leap forward as the world’s number one wafer company with fundamental competitiveness."
